The brief that avoids hallucinations

A coding agent invents when you let it guess. Here is the five-line brief we hand Claude Code before every page.

Mike T.Mike T.

Why it invents

A model completes what is missing. If the brief does not say which library version, which style file or which route exists, it picks the most likely one from memory, not from your repository.

The five lines

The project rules file, the plan with the checkbox, the component to reuse, the verification command, and what not to do. Each line points to a file, not to an idea.

The result on Chantier: pages come out with the right classes, tokens and translations the first time, and verification is a script, not a re-read.

What it changes

Less re-reading, more shipping. The “Shipping with Claude Code” course covers the full template.

Why Chantier, and why now

There is information everywhere and people shipping nowhere. We are opening a site for the latter.
